Growing up in El Salvador without a father, he learned early on what it meant to carry responsibility. He dropped out of school as a child to work and help support his mother and siblings — not because he had to be asked, but because that was simply who he was.

That same drive followed him throughout his life. He operated three tire shops over the years: MG Tires in Bowling Green, MG Tires & Service 2 in Falmouth, and Power Tire here on Lafayette — the shop he poured everything into for his family and his community.

People who knew him knew him for two things: his character and his honesty. He never took shortcuts, never gave you anything less than the truth, and never stopped working to give his family a better life. Through every hardship, he kept a positive mindset and kept moving forward.

Power Tire is more than a business. It's a family shop — now run by his son — and every customer who walks through the door gets treated like one.
